Donations!
It was something I had to think hard on but because I do not have a job outside of writing and because it will take 18 months before I can even get a date for my disability hearing, so I decided to look into this and found the set up remarkably easy. The only thing it required is swallowing my pride and asking for help.
The majority of the donation is going toward ideas I have on how I want to expand my blog and what I want to bring to you, the reader. I’ve even compiled a list here of those ideas so you, my friends, can see exactly what I have planned and where I want to go with this. I have been lucky already, as someone who supports my blog gifted me with a computer. This alleviated a lot of unneeded stress in my life as I was scrambling to figure out how I was going to continue my advocacy without a computer. Luckily, I did not have to worry long and one of my readers surprised me with a beautiful lap top. I am certainly not looking for that kind of donation, small donations add up.
Some of the exciting ideas I have are:
• Webinars on Holistic Approach to Chronic Illness with monthly topics.
• Pod Casts. I really like this idea and being able to communicate to my readers and reach them in a different way.
• Pod Casts do require some software and so I need some money for that.
• E-book. For those who subscribe to my blog I’d like to be able to send out an E-book on holistic approaches to chronic pain and illness with my favorite recipes on salves and tinctures and all kinds of goodies.
It’s a joy to have my blog. It is therapeutic and motivating and also inspiring. Those of you who leave me comments, even when I cannot get to commenting back because it’s a bad day or week, I read each one and you blow me away. I want to continue being that beacon for you; being that advocate for the community because I truly believe one voice can make a difference.
I also want to take it to a new level. I am hoping that some of you out there will be able to help me out. Know that I am grateful for anything you are able to donate and for supporting my blog!
